Abstract

In a system and a method of electronic data exchange for retrieving information used to carry out processes, at least one application is used to retrieve the information, and the application retrieves situation-specific information.

Claims

1. A system of electronic data exchange for retrieving information used to carry out processes, the system comprising at least one application for retrieving the information, said at least one application being formed so that it retrieves situation-specific information.

2. A system as defined in claim 1, wherein said application is formed so that it determines an information requirement of a process.

3. A system as defined in claim 1, wherein said application is formed so that it automatically retrieves the situation-specific information.

4. A system as defined in claim 1, wherein said application is formed so that it retrieves the situation-specific information in a manner such that said application identifies a suitable server provider, said server provider of said application provides the situation-specific information, and said application further processes said situation-specific information.

5. A system as defined in claim 1, and further comprising means for performing a data exchange using standardized Web techniques.

6. A system as defined in claim 1, wherein said application is formed so that the situation-specific information includes process and planning data, which process and planning data are limitable to supplementary process and planning data.

7. A system as defined in claim 1, wherein said application is formed so that it navigates among agreed-upon service providers.

8. A system as defined in claim 1, wherein said application is formed so that it automatically integrates suitable service providers in the system for information retrieval.

9. A system as defined in claim 1, wherein said application is formed so as to check dynamically existing information and automatically retrieve new information.

10. A system as defined in claim 1, wherein said application is formed so that it provides an action selected from the group consisting of integration of additional users in the system for information retrieval, making the retrieved information available to additional users, and both.

11. A system as defined in claim 1, wherein said application is assigned to an apparatus selected from the group consisting of at least one mobile agricultural working machine, at least one piece of stationary equipment, or both, and the situation specific information controls agricultural processes.

12. A system as defined in claim 11, wherein the agricultural processes are selectable from the group consisting of an optimization of operational parameters of the agricultural working machine, a management of an implementation of the agricultural working machine, a management of complex processes sequences, and an optimization of a use of auxiliary substances.

13. A system as defined in claim 12, wherein said auxiliary substances include seeds, fertilizers, plant-protecting agents, and fuels.

14. A system as defined in claim 1, wherein said application is formed so that it is activated by a user.

15. A system as defined in claim 14, wherein the user is a data exchange system, and said application makes the situation-specific information available to a modulated sequence.

16. A system as defined in claim 15, wherein the modulated sequence is formed as a large number of process chains.

17. A system as defined in claim 15 wherein said data exchange system is formed so that it functions as a process-chain manager of the modulated sequence.

18. A system as defined in claim 1, wherein said application is formed so that a user selects a defined process, and said application determines an information requirement for carrying out the selected process and automatically retrieves the situation-specific information that fulfils the information requirement.

19. A method of electronic data exchange for retrieving information used to carry out processes, comprising the steps of retrieving the information using at least one application;

and performing the retrieving so that the application retrieves situation-specific information.
