1. A method for resource allocation, the method comprising:
- maintaining a database that includes categories of wireless end point device errors, each category being cross-referenced to a corresponding diagnostic service;
receiving a notification of an error in a wireless end point device;
categorizing the error;
querying the database to identify a diagnostic service that is cross-referenced to the error category to which the error corresponds; and
sending the notification of the error to the diagnostic service that is cross-referenced to the error category to which the error corresponds.

Abstract
This disclosure relates implementing resource allocation in a wireless communication system. In one example, first a resource allocation manager maintains a database that includes categories of wireless end point device errors. Each category in the database is cross-referenced to a corresponding diagnostic service. Next, the resource allocation manager receives a notification of an error in a wireless end point device. Then, the resource allocation manager categorizing the error. Next, the resource allocation manager queries the database to identify a diagnostic service that is cross-referenced to the error category to which the error corresponds. Finally, the resource allocation manager sends the notification of the error to the diagnostic service that is cross-referenced to the error category to which the error corresponds.
