- creating an image object containing an image associated with a drug prescription order, wherein the image object is stored on a server;
creating a task object associated with the image object;
routing one of a copy of the image object and a reference to the image object to a first client computer associated with a first pharmacy resource, wherein the first pharmacy resource uses the first client computer to modify the task object to capture prescription data associated with the image object;
verifying that the task object prescription data corresponds to prescription information represented by the image contained in the image object.
