1. A portable mobile communications device for receiving a mobile television broadcast and displaying content on a secondary display device comprising:

  • a mobile television receiver for receiving a mobile television broadcast comprised of multiple channels of content data;

    a mobile television signal processor coupled with the mobile television receiver for;

    unpacking a mobile television broadcast signal into multiple data streams, one for each channel that was broadcast; and

    decoding one of the unpacked data streams so that the data can be rendered on a primary display within the portable mobile communications device;

    a portable mobile communications device signal processor for receiving unpacked data streams from the mobile television signal processor; and

    a secondary transceiver within the portable mobile communications device coupled with the portable mobile communications device signal processor for transmitting the unpacked data streams to the secondary display device where they can be decoded by and rendered on the secondary display device.
