1. A method to associate ad information with media content and with users who receive the content over a network, the method comprising:

  • serving over a network an advertiser registration user interface to each of a plurality of ad campaign providers that solicits ad campaign content association rules and that solicits ad campaign user association rules;

    receiving over the network respective ad campaign provider information from each of the plurality of ad campaign providers in response to a solicitation to an ad campaign provider;

    serving over the network a content provider registration user interface to each of a plurality of content providers that solicits content provider information to associate ads with media content information;

    receiving over the network respective content information from each of a plurality of media content providers in response to a solicitation to a content provider; and

    receiving over the network respective user profile information associated with users who receive content provider content over the network.
