1. A station (STA) apparatus for receiving an allocated transmission period in a transmission frame period in a wireless network system, said transmission frame period having a preset duration, the apparatus comprising:

  • a processor for analyzing a power save multi-poll (PSMP) frame providing by an access point (AP) a downlink period and an initial uplink period, and if the initial uplink period provided by the PSMP frame is insufficient to transmit queued data, generating a data unit including a part of the queued data and a resource request message requesting an allocation of additional resources for remaining queued data;

    a transceiver for receiving the PSMP frame from the AP, delivering the PSMP frame to the processor, transmitting the data unit to the AP in the initial uplink period and receiving in the transmission frame period a sub PSMP frame providing by the AP an additional uplink period, the sub PSMP frame being transmitted by the AP after all of the periods provided by the PSMP frame, and transmitting at least part of the remaining queued data to the AP in the additional uplink period provided by the sub PSMP frame.
