Abstract

Devices, systems and methods are provided to communicate using mobile or wireless devices having a plurality of interactive applications, wherein each application is useable interactively with other applications. Thus, a user is enabled to utilize multiple applications interactively on a single mobile device, with each application providing intelligent feedback to an application server as to the use habits of the user with regard to that application. Further, the applications server provides a level of intelligence back to each mobile device creating an ongoing intelligent feedback loop.

Claims

1. A device for communication, the device comprising:

a mobile unit including a plurality of interactive applications, wherein each application is useable intelligently and interactively with other applications.

2. The device of claim 1, wherein the mobile unit interacts through its applications with other mobile units having the same application in its plurality of interactive applications.

3. The device of claim 1, wherein feedback regarding the use of the application on the mobile unit defines and/or controls the future use of the same application on the same mobile unit.

4. The device of claim 1, wherein the mobile unit interacts with an application server to activate functions in the interactive applications which would be most useful for a user depending on the historic use of the mobile unit by the user.

5. The device of claim 1, wherein the interactive applications on the mobile unit can be configured to have a user interface as desired by the user.

6. The device of claim 1, wherein intelligence associated with the interactive applications on the mobile unit communicates with intelligence on remote application servers.

7. The device of claim 6, wherein the interaction of the intelligence on the mobile unit and the intelligence on the remote application servers provides a user an interface that is reflective of past uses of the user with respect to an application.

8. The device of claim 6, wherein communication between the mobile unit and an application server occurs using Session Initiation Protocol.

9. A system for communication, the system comprising:

a dynamic event server subsystem (DESS) containing an application server;

an Internet Protocol Multimedia Subsystem (IMS);

a wireless terminal;

wherein communication between the DESS, the IMS and the wireless terminal occurs using Session Initiation Protocol (SIP).

10. The system of claim 9, wherein the wireless terminal comprises:

a mobile unit including a plurality of interactive applications, wherein each application is useable intelligently and interactively with other applications.

11. The system of claim 10, wherein the mobile unit interacts through its applications with other mobile units having the same application in its plurality of interactive applications.

12. The system of claim 10, wherein feedback regarding the use of the application on the mobile unit defines and/or controls the future use of the same application on the same mobile unit.

13. The system of claim 10, wherein the mobile unit interacts with the application server to activate functions in the interactive applications which would be most useful for a user depending on the historic use of the mobile unit by the user.

14. The system of claim 10, wherein the interactive applications on the mobile unit can be configured to have a user interface as desired by the user.

15. The system of claim 10, wherein intelligence associated with the interactive applications on the mobile unit communicates with intelligence on the application server.

16. The device of claim 15, wherein the interaction of the intelligence on the mobile unit and the intelligence on the application server provides a user an interface that is reflective of past uses of the user with respect to an application.

17. A method for communication, the method comprising:

providing a mobile device including a plurality of interactive applications, wherein each application is useable interactively with other applications.

18. The method of claim 17, wherein the mobile device interacts by use of collected intelligence through its applications with other mobile devices having the same application in its plurality of interactive applications.

19. The method of claim 17, wherein feedback regarding the use of the application on the mobile device defines and/or controls the future use of the same application.

20. The method of claim 17, wherein the mobile device interacts with an application server to activate functions in the interactive applications which would be most useful for a user depending on the historic use of the mobile device by the user.

21. The method of claim 17, wherein the applications will be enabled at differing thresholds of service constrained by either network or device capability.

22. The method of claim 17, wherein communication between the mobile device and remote application servers occurs using Session Initiation Protocol.
