Abstract

A LED lamp tube is disclosed to include a tube that admits light, circuit boards respectively mounted inside the tube, each circuit board carrying an array of LEDs, two end caps respectively capped on the ends of the tube to hold the circuit boards inside the tube and connectable to connectors of a conventional fluorescent bulb holder to secure the tube to the conventional fluorescent bulb holder, and a power cord extending from the circuit boards out of the tube for connection to power supply to obtain the necessary working voltage for the LEDs.

Claims

1. A LED lamp tube comprising a tube that admits light, at least one circuit board mounted inside said tube, said at least one circuit board each comprising a plurality of light emitting diodes arranged in at least one array, and two end caps respectively capped on the ends of said tube to hold said at least one circuit board inside said tube, said end caps each having a plurality of mounting pins connectable to connectors of a conventional fluorescent bulb holder to secure said tube to the conventional fluorescent bulb holder.

2. The LED lamp tube as claimed in claim 1, further comprising a power cord electrically extending from said at least one circuit board out of said tube and terminating in an electric plug for connection to power supply.

3. The LED lamp tube as claimed in claim 2, wherein said electric plug is connectable to an AC adapter.

4. The LED lamp tube as claimed in claim 1, wherein said tube is rotatable relative to said end caps after installation of said end caps in the connectors of the conventional fluorescent bulb holder.

5. The LED lamp tube as claimed in claim 1, wherein the number of said at least one circuit board is 2, and the two circuit boards are arranged together back to back, keeping the respective light emitting diodes arranged at two opposite sides.

6. The LED lamp tube as claimed in claim 1, wherein said at least one circuit board includes a plurality of circuit board abutted against one another and forming a tubular structure.

7. The LED lamp tube as claimed in claim 1, wherein the mounting pins of said end caps are made subject to different patterns to fit different connectors of different conventional fluorescent bulb holders.
