1. A method for allocating resources to frequency bands of a radio communication system, comprising:

  • allocating resources of first and second frequency division duplex frequency bands at a distance from each other for transmissions by a time division duplex transmission method;

    allocating the resources in the first frequency division duplex frequency band for frequency division duplex transmissions in an uplink and for time division duplex transmissions predominantly in the uplink as a primary transmission direction and in a secondary manner in a downlink as a secondary transmission direction; and

    allocating the resources in the second frequency division duplex frequency band for frequency division duplex transmissions in the downlink and for time division duplex transmissions predominantly in the downlink as the primary transmission direction and in a secondary manner in the uplink as the secondary transmission direction, with none of the resources being allocated for time periods of an allocation of the resources for one of the secondary transmission directions in the first and second frequency bands, for frequency division duplex transmissions in a counter secondary transmission direction to the secondary transmission direction.
