1. An information processing unit which activates a plurality of card information in order to carry out processing relating to an arbitrary card, comprising;
- a communication unit which receives a selection instruction of card information to be activated, among the plurality of card information, from an external device; and
a lock application designating unit which gives an instruction to an information storage unit that stores the plurality of card information, so as not to activate card information prepared not to correspond to the selection instruction.

Abstract
The present invention provides a multi-application IC card capable of displaying a plurality of card functions internally incorporated so as to be easily comprehensible. Further, it provides an information processing unit such as a mobile terminal device to utilize card functions with the corresponding IC card held. In the invention, the IC card 10 having a plurality of card functions is configured so as to hold obverse side data to display images 21 and 22 of the obverse sides of respective cards. Using the obverse side data, it is possible to display the images 21 and 22 of the obverse sides of the cards expressing respective card functions of the IC card 10, wherein a user is able to intuitively interpret the types of card functions internally incorporated in the IC card 10 on the basis of the obverse side images 21 and 22.
