Abstract

The present invention is related to methods and compositions that are capable of immediately immunizing a human or animal against any molecule or compound. The present invention comprises an immunity linker molecule with at least two sites; (1) a first binding site that binds to an immune system molecule in a human or animal that has been preimmunized against the first binding site, and (2) one or more second binding sites that bind specifically to a desired compound or molecule. The first binding site and the second binding site(s) are linked by a linker portion of the molecule.

Claims

1. An immunity linker molecule for immunizing a human or animal to a target compound or molecule wherein the human or animal is immunologically naï

ve to the target compound or molecule comprising;

the immunity linker molecule having at least one first site that binds to a preexisting antibody specific for a compound or molecule that is not the target compound or molecule, a linking portion, and at least one second binding site that binds to a target compound or molecule.

2. The immunity linker molecule of claim 1, wherein the immunity linker molecule is a protein, a peptide, a nucleic acid, or a combination thereof.

3. The immunity linker molecule of claim 1, wherein the antibody is from a human or animal that has a pre-existing immune response to the first binding site.

4. The immunity linker molecule of claim 1, wherein the target compound or molecule is a microorganism.

5. The immunity linker molecule of claim 4, wherein the microorganism is a bacteria, virus, pathogen, or fungus.

6. The immunity linker molecule of claim 1, wherein the target compound or molecule is a drug.

7. The immunity linker molecule of claim 1, wherein the immunity linker molecule is an aptamer.

8. A method of immunizing a human or animal against a molecule or compound comprising administering to the human or animal the immunity linker molecule of claim 1.

9. The method of claim 8, wherein the human or animal has a pre-existing immune response to the first binding site on the immunity linker molecule of claim 1.

10. The method of claim 8, wherein the compound or molecule is a microorganism.

11. The method of claim 10, wherein the microorganism is a bacteria, virus, pathogen or fungus.

12. The method of claim 8, wherein the compound or molecule is a drug.

13. The method of claim 8, wherein the immunity linker molecule is an aptamer.

14. A method of preimmunizing a human or animal comprising immunizing a human or animal against a molecule that contains a first site that is immunogenic, the first site being present on the immune linker molecule of claim 1.

15. The immunity linker molecule of claim 1, wherein the second binding site is an aptamer.

16. The immunity linker molecule of claim 1, wherein the linking portion further comprises a spacer.

17. The immunity linker molecule of claim 16, wherein the spacer is a double helical region of RNA.

18. The immunity linker molecule of claim 1, wherein the target compound or molecule is a toxin, a toxic substance, or toxic chemical substance.

19. The method of claim 8, wherein the immunity linker molecule is a protein, a peptide, a nucleic acid, or a combination thereof.
