Abstract

A method and system are described for transmitting a timing estimate record responsive to a systemic flow of one or more artificial markers.

Claims

1. A method comprising:

transmitting a timing estimate record responsive to a systemic flow of one or more artificial markers.

2. The method of claim 1, in which transmitting a timing estimate record responsive to a systemic flow of one or more artificial markers comprises:

associating the systemic flow of the one or more artificial markers with one or more of a hair, a nail, a horn, or a claw.

3. The method of claim 1, in which transmitting a timing estimate record responsive to a systemic flow of one or more artificial markers comprises:

receiving a user input indicating roughly a time of entry of the one or more artificial markers into a portion of a subject'"'"'s body.

5. The method of claim 1, in which transmitting a timing estimate record responsive to a systemic flow of one or more artificial markers comprises:

computing one or more time values of the timing estimate record responsive to a signal from one or more outgrowths each containing the one or more artificial markers.

6. The method of claim 1, in which transmitting a timing estimate record responsive to a systemic flow of one or more artificial markers comprises:

obtaining a timing estimate as a clock value substantially simultaneous with an event signaling the systemic flow of the one or more artificial markers; and

including the timing estimate in the timing estimate record.

7. The method of claim 1, in which transmitting a timing estimate record responsive to a systemic flow of one or more artificial markers comprises:

externally signaling the systemic flow of the one or more artificial markers.

8. The method of claim 1, in which transmitting a timing estimate record responsive to a systemic flow of one or more artificial markers comprises:

providing the one or more artificial markers to a subject.

9. The method of claim 1, in which transmitting a timing estimate record responsive to a systemic flow of one or more artificial markers comprises:

providing one or more precursors of the one or more artificial markers.

13. The method of claim 1, in which transmitting a timing estimate record responsive to a systemic flow of one or more artificial markers comprises:

generating the timing estimate record at least partly based on an outgrowth-marking-timing record.

15. The method of claim 1, in which transmitting a timing estimate record responsive to a systemic flow of one or more artificial markers comprises:

receiving an indication of the one or more artificial markers; and

detecting the one or more artificial markers by using the indication in analyzing an outgrowth.

18. The method of claim 1, in which transmitting a timing estimate record responsive to a systemic flow of one or more artificial markers comprises:

indicating a timing scale of a signal by detecting at least a first and a second of the one or more artificial markers in each of one or more outgrowths.

19. The method of claim 1, in which transmitting a timing estimate record responsive to a systemic flow of one or more artificial markers comprises:

generating the timing estimate record by detecting the one or more artificial markers and one or more natural markers in each of one or more outgrowths.

20. The method of claim 1, in which transmitting a timing estimate record responsive to a systemic flow of one or more artificial markers comprises:

transmitting a message including at least an event type indicator and the timing estimate record.
