Abstract

In accordance with some embodiments, a plurality of outcomes are generated and used to create a video presentation of representative outcomes for one or more players (e.g., for a keno game, for a bingo game). The video presentation is recorded onto a tangible medium (e.g., DVD or CD-ROM) or otherwise provided to one or more players (e.g., a player may access the video presentation online). This allows one or more players to purchase a video presentation of (e.g., predetermined) outcomes in a jurisdiction in which gambling is legal yet view the presentation at the player'"'"'s convenience (e.g., from any jurisdiction and at any time). At least one player who is associated with such a video presentation may subsequently redeem it for a redemption value associated therewith.

Claims

1. A method, comprising:

determining a set of drawn numbers for a drawing game;

determining a first set of player numbers associated with a first player;

determining a second set of player numbers associated with a second player;

comparing the first set of player numbers to the set of drawn numbers to determine a first number of matches;

comparing the second set of player numbers to the set of drawn numbers to determine a second number of matches; and

determining whether the first player should receive a bonus payout based on the first number of matches and the second number of matches.

2. The method of claim 1, in which the drawing game is keno.

3. The method of claim 1, in which determining whether the first player should receive the bonus payout comprises:

determining whether the first number of matches is greater than the second number of matches.

4. The method of claim 1, further comprising:

determining a first payout for the first player based on the first number of matches; and

determining a second payout for the second player based on the second number of matches.

5. The method of claim 1, further comprising:

providing the bonus payout to the first player.

6. The method of claim 1, further comprising:

storing an indication of the first number of matches and the second number of matches on a tangible medium; and

selling, after determining the first number of matches and the second number of matches, the tangible medium to a purchaser in exchange for a price.

7. The method of claim 1, further comprising:

determining a threshold number of matches; and

in which determining whether the first player should receive the bonus payout comprises;

determining whether the first player should receive a bonus payout based on the first number of matches, the second number of matches and the threshold number of matches.

8. The method of claim 7, in which the first number of matches is equal to the second number of matches.

9. The method of claim 8, further comprising:

providing the bonus payout to the first player if the first number of matches is greater than the threshold number.

10. The method of claim 9, further comprising:

providing the bonus payout to the second player if the second number of matches is greater than the threshold number.

11. An apparatus comprising:

a processor; and

a storage device in communication with the processor, the storage device storing instructions configured to direct the processor to;

determine a set of drawn numbers for a drawing game;

determine a first set of player numbers associated with a first player;

determine a second set of player numbers associated with a second player;

compare the first set of player numbers to the set of drawn numbers to determine a first number of matches;

compare the second set of player numbers to the set of drawn numbers to determine a second number of matches; and

determine whether the first player should receive a bonus payout based on the first number of matches and the second number of matches.
