- a pole having a top and a bottom;
a movable device attached to the pole so that the movable device can slide up and down the pole;
a first arm having a first end fixed near the top of the pole in a manner so that the first arm can pivot with respect to the pole, and a second end opposing the first end of the first arm;
a second arm having a first end fixed near the top of the pole in a manner so that the second arm can pivot with respect to the pole;
a first member having a first end and a second end, the first end of the first member fixed to the movable device, the second end of the first member fixed to the first arm between the first and second ends of the first arm;
a second member having a first end and a second end, the first end of the second member fixed to the movable device, the second end of the second member fixed to the second arm between the first and second ends of the second arm;
wherein the first arm includes a plurality of lights; and
wherein the second arm includes a plurality of lights.

An umbrella structure is disclosed with a plurality of lights attached to each of a plurality of arms. The umbrella structure includes a pole and a movable device attached to the pole so that the movable device can slide up and down the pole. The movable device can be moved to move the plurality of arms having the plurality of lights attached thereon.

a movable device attached to the pole so that the movable device can slide up and down the pole;
a first arm having a first end fixed near the top of the pole in a manner so that the first arm can pivot with respect to the pole, and a second end opposing the first end of the first arm;
a second arm having a first end fixed near the top of the pole in a manner so that the second arm can pivot with respect to the pole;
a first member having a first end and a second end, the first end of the first member fixed to the movable device, the second end of the first member fixed to the first arm between the first and second ends of the first arm;
a second member having a first end and a second end, the first end of the second member fixed to the movable device, the second end of the second member fixed to the second arm between the first and second ends of the second arm;
wherein the first arm includes a plurality of lights; and

10. A method comprising
fixing a plurality of lights to a first arm; -
fixing a plurality of lights to a second arm;
wherein the first arm has a first end fixed near a top of a pole in a manner so that the first arm can pivot with respect to the pole, and a second end opposing the first end of the first arm;
wherein the second arm has a first end fixed near the top of the pole in a manner so that the second arm can pivot with respect to the pole, and a second end opposing the first end of the first arm;
wherein the pole has a movable device attached to it, so that the movable device can slide up and down the pole;
wherein a first member has a first end which is fixed to the movable device and a second end which is fixed to the first arm between the first and second ends of the first arm; and
