Abstract
Methods and apparatus to certify digital signatures are disclosed. An example method includes receiving a request to certify a digital signature from a user, receiving information about a physical characteristic of the user, comparing the information about the physical characteristic to stored physical characteristic information, and based on the comparison, at least one of certifying the digital signature based on the comparison or requesting certification of the digital signature based on the comparison.

14. An apparatus to validate a request to certify a digital signature, the apparatus comprising:

a biometric authenticator to compare first information about a first physical characteristic to first stored physical characteristic information;
a location authenticator to compare second information about a second physical characteristic to second stored physical characteristic information;
a data transceiver to receive a request to certify a digital signature from a user and to receive information about a physical characteristic of the user; and

40. A method to certify a digital signature, the method comprising:

receiving a request to certify a digital signature from a user;
receiving biometric information associated with the user;
receiving an identification number associated with a network device associated with the user;
comparing the biometric information to stored biometric information;
comparing the identification number to stored physical characteristic information; and
at least one of certifying the digital signature based on the comparison of the biometric information to the stored biometric information and the comparison of the identification number to the stored physical characteristic information or requesting certification of the digital signature based on the comparison of the biometric information to the stored biometric information and the comparison of the identification number to the stored physical characteristic information.
