Abstract

One aspect relates to using an exemplar that could at least partially be interacted with by a user for at least partially recognizing an at least one goods, items, and/or services that could be purchased by the user. Another aspect relates to shopping for an at least one goods, items, and/or services using at least one exemplar to obtain an at least one exemplar item information at least partially in response to at least partially identifying the at least one goods, items, and/or services that could be purchased. Yet another aspect relates to shopping by associating at least one shopping device with an exemplar to obtain exemplar item information relating to an at least one goods, items, and/or services that could be purchased.

Claims

1. A method comprising:

using an exemplar that could at least partially be interacted with by a user for at least partially recognizing an at least one goods, items, and/or services that could be purchased by the user.

2. The method of claim 1, wherein the using an exemplar that could at least partially be interacted with by a user for at least partially recognizing an at least one goods, items, and/or services that could be purchased by the user comprises:

presenting a “

buy this”

button to the user that is associated with the exemplar for at least partially recognizing the at least one goods, items, and/or services that could be purchased by the user.

3. The method of claim 1, wherein the using an exemplar that could at least partially be interacted with by a user for at least partially recognizing an at least one goods, items, and/or services that could be purchased by the user comprises:

presenting a “

price this”

button to the user that could be associated with the exemplar for at least partially recognizing the at least one goods, items, and/or services that could be purchased by the user.

4. The method of claim 1, wherein the using an exemplar that could at least partially be interacted with by a user for at least partially recognizing an at least one goods, items, and/or services that could be purchased by the user comprises:

presenting a buying options menu to the user to at least partially recognize buying options for at least partially recognizing the at least one goods, items, and/or services that could be purchased by the user.

5. The method of claim 1, wherein the using an exemplar that could at least partially be interacted with by a user for at least partially recognizing an at least one goods, items, and/or services that could be purchased by the user comprises:

presenting an electronic-based exemplar to the user that could be interacted with by the user for at least partially recognizing the at least one goods, items, and/or services that could be purchased by the user.

6. The method of claim 1, wherein the using an exemplar that could at least partially be interacted with by a user for at least partially recognizing an at least one goods, items, and/or services that could be purchased by the user comprises:

presenting an audio-based exemplar to the user that could be interacted with by the user for at least partially recognizing the at least one goods, items, and/or services that could be purchased by the user.

7. The method of claim 1, wherein the using an exemplar that could at least partially be interacted with by a user for at least partially recognizing an at least one goods, items, and/or services that could be purchased by the user comprises:

presenting an image-based exemplar to the user that could be interacted with by the user for at least partially recognizing the at least one goods, items, and/or services that could be purchased by the user.

8. The method of claim 1, further comprising:

imaging the exemplar, wherein the for at least partially recognizing the at least one goods, items, and/or services that could be purchased by the user is at least partially performed in response to the imaging the exemplar.

9. The method of claim 1, further comprising:

purchasing the at least one goods, items, and/or services based at least in part on user interaction with the exemplar at least partially in response to the at least partially recognizing the at least one goods, items, and/or services.

10. The method of claim 1, further comprising:

establishing exemplar item information at least partially at a shopping device to at least partially recognize the at least one goods, items, and/or services.

11. The method of claim 1, further comprising:

providing shopper input at least partially to a shopping control mechanism to at least partially recognize the at least one goods, items, and/or services.

12. A method comprising:

shopping for an at least one goods, items, and/or services using at least one exemplar to obtain an at least one exemplar item information at least partially in response to at least partially recognizing the at least one goods, items, and/or services that could be purchased.

The method of claim 12, wherein the shopping for an at least one goods, items, and/or services using at least one exemplar to obtain an at least one exemplar item information at least partially in response to at least partially recognizing the at least one goods, items, and/or services that could be purchased comprises:

shopping within an area controlled by an exemplar merchant and/or store for the at least one goods, items, and/or services.

The method of claim 12, wherein the shopping for an at least one goods, items, and/or services using at least one exemplar to obtain an at least one exemplar item information at least partially in response to at least partially recognizing the at least one goods, items, and/or services that could be purchased comprises:

shopping for the at least one goods, items, and/or services outside of an area controlled by an exemplar merchant and/or store.

The method of claim 12, wherein the shopping for an at least one goods, items, and/or services using at least one exemplar to obtain an at least one exemplar item information at least partially in response to at least partially recognizing the at least one goods, items, and/or services that could be purchased comprises:

shopping for the at least one goods, items, and/or services at least partially using a networked data-transfer system.

The method of claim 12, wherein the shopping for an at least one goods, items, and/or services using at least one exemplar to obtain an at least one exemplar item information at least partially in response to at least partially recognizing the at least one goods, items, and/or services that could be purchased comprises:

shopping for the at least one goods, items, and/or services by at least partially obtaining the at least one exemplar item information.

The method of claim 12, wherein the shopping for an at least one goods, items, and/or services using at least one exemplar to obtain an at least one exemplar item information at least partially in response to at least partially recognizing the at least one goods, items, and/or services that could be purchased comprises:

shopping for the at least one goods, items, and/or services using an at least one electronic-based exemplar.

The method of claim 12, wherein the shopping for an at least one goods, items, and/or services using at least one exemplar to obtain an at least one exemplar item information at least partially in response to at least partially recognizing the at least one goods, items, and/or services that could be purchased comprises:

shopping for the at least one goods, items, and/or services using an at least one audio-based exemplar.

The method of claim 12, wherein the shopping for an at least one goods, items, and/or services using at least one exemplar to obtain an at least one exemplar item information at least partially in response to at least partially recognizing the at least one goods, items, and/or services that could be purchased comprises:

shopping for the at least one goods, items, and/or services using an at least one image-based exemplar.

20. The method of claim 12, further comprising:

recognizing the at least one exemplar as corresponding to the at least one goods, items, and/or services at least partially in response to the at least partially recognize the at least one goods, items, and/or services that could be purchased.

21. The method of claim 12, further comprising:

purchasing the at least one goods, items, and/or services at least partially using the at least one exemplar at least partially in response to the at least partially recognize the at least one goods, items, and/or services that could be purchased.

22. The method of claim 12, further comprising:

providing the exemplar item information that could be used to determine whether the at least one goods, items, and/or services could be purchased.

23. The method of claim 12, further comprising:

paying for the at least one goods, items, and/or services.

24. The method of claim 12, wherein the shopping using at least one exemplar comprises:

shopping at least partially by capturing an image of the at least one goods, items, and/or services that could be purchased.

25. The method of claim 12, wherein the shopping using at least one exemplar comprises:

shopping at least partially by inputting using an input device that at least partially establishes the exemplar item information, wherein the input device is physically associated with the at least one goods, items, and/or services that could be purchased.

26. The method of claim 12, wherein the shopping using at least one exemplar comprises:

presenting a shopper with at least one option associated with the at least one goods, items, and/or services.

27. The method of claim 12, wherein the shopping using at least one exemplar comprises:

presenting delivery options associated with the at least one goods, items, and/or services.

28. A method comprising:

shopping by associating at least one shopping device with an exemplar to obtain exemplar item information relating to an at least one goods, items, and/or services that could be purchased.

29. The method of claim 28, wherein the exemplar can be used to at least partially identify the at least one goods, items, and/or services that could be purchased.

30. The method of claim 28, further comprising:

integrating at least a portion of the at least one shopping device with respect to a shopping cart.

31. The method of claim 28, further comprising:

interfacing the at least one shopping device with the exemplar to at least partially create the exemplar item information.

32. The method of claim 28, further comprising:

electronically interfacing the at least one shopping device with the exemplar to at least partially create the exemplar item information.

37. The method of claim 28, further comprising:

allowing input from a merchant or store to the at least one shopping device to provide information related to the at least one goods, items, and/or services to a shopper.

considering purchasing goods, items, and/or services remotely from an exemplar merchant and/or store at least partially using an exemplar item information as derived from a customer'"'"'s previous history.

39. The method of claim 38, wherein at least some of the exemplar item information as derived from the customer'"'"'s previous history could be stored in certain embodiments of at least a portion of a shopping device.

40. An apparatus comprising:

a shopping device configurable to interface with an exemplar to provide exemplar item information at least partially identifying an at least one goods, items, and/or services that could be purchased.

41. The apparatus of claim 40, wherein the shopping device configurable to interface with an exemplar to provide exemplar item information at least partially identifying an at least one goods, items, and/or services that could be purchased further comprises:

the shopping device at least partially physically mounted relative to a shopping cart.

42. The apparatus of claim 40, wherein the shopping device configurable to interface with an exemplar to provide exemplar item information at least partially identifying an at least one goods, items, and/or services that could be purchased further comprises:

the shopping device at least partially integrated in an electronic card operable to interface with an electronic card-exemplar interface.

44. The apparatus of claim 40, further comprising:

purchasing goods, items, and/or services at least partially based on exemplar item information corresponding to each of the at least one goods, items, and/or services.

45. The apparatus of claim 40, wherein the shopping device is under the control at least in part of an exemplar merchant or store.

46. The apparatus of claim 40, wherein the shopping device is under the control at least in part of an exemplar customer.

47. The apparatus of claim 40, wherein the shopping device is under the control at least in part of an agent of the exemplar merchant or store.

an exemplar shopping mechanism operable to at least partially be interacted with by a user for at least partially recognizing an at least one goods, items, and/or services that correspond to an exemplar.

54. The apparatus of claim 52, wherein the exemplar shopping mechanism further comprises a shopping control mechanism.
