Abstract

Implant analog for custom production of prosthetic superstructures for inserted dental implants, inserted into a master cast directly or indirectly via a model sleeve comprising an implant head equipped with elements to hold and fasten an implant system; a base of said implant analog having a cross section that tapers over at least part of its length; an implant head having a working surface and a connecting piece; a tenon-like projection on a bottom end surface of said implant head; and an external thread dimensioned to connect with a screw element.

Claims

1. Implant analog for custom production of prosthetic superstructures for inserted dental implants, inserted into a master cast directly or indirectly via a model sleeve comprising:

an implant head equipped with elements to hold and fasten an implant system;

a base of said implant analog having a cross section that tapers over at least part of its length;

an implant head having a working surface and a connecting piece;

a tenon-like projection on a bottom end surface of said implant head; and

an external thread dimensioned to connect with a screw element.

2. Implant analog according to claim 1, characterized in that the implant head (5) is set obliquely to the longitudinal axis of the implant analog (2).

3. Implant analog according to claim 1, characterized in that the axis of the implant head (5) is at an obtuse angle, which may vary in size, to the axis of the base (3).

Implant analog according to claim 1, characterized in that the model sleeve (13) is an inner sleeve to which an additional outer sleeve (19) is assigned, where the inner sleeve (13) and the outer sleeve (19) are protected against rotation relative to each other through a slot (16) located in the jacket surface of the internal sleeve (13) running along the long axis of the sleeve and a longitudinal bar (26) provided on the inner wall of the outer sleeve (19) and where the outer sleeve (19) has am unbroken bar (28) with an opening (29) for a pin (30) passing through the end opening with the smaller diameter.

5. Implant analog according to claim 4, characterized in that the pin (30) has profiling (31) at one end.

6. Implant analog according to claim 4, characterized in that the outer sleeve (34) of the outer sleeve (19) is provided with axial and radial bars (21, 22) serving as protection against rotation.

7. Implant analog according to claim 1 characterized in that the implant analog (2) is clamped into the model sleeve (6, 38, 49) by way of a screw element which can be inserted into sleeves (39, 54, 58).

8. Implant analog according to claim 1, characterized in that the implant analog (2) is connected directly to the master cast (1) with screw elements.

9. Implant analog according to claim 1, characterized in that the sleeves (6, 38, 49) form seating sleeves and have a seating part (42, 50) and a sleeve part (43, 51).

10. Implant analog according to claim 1, characterized in that the sleeve part (43, 51) connects without a transition to the seating part (42, 50) and both sleeve parts have a common jacket surface.

11. Implant analog according to claim 1, characterized in that the implant analog (2) is connected directly to the master cast (1) with a conical backing piece (58).

Implant analog according to claims 1, characterized in that the implant analog (2) is clamped in a shell (38) with the conical backing piece (58), which has a first cone (55) to hold the implant analog (2) and a cone (56) in the opposite direction from the first one to hold the backing piece (58).

13. Implant analog according to one of claim 1 characterized in that the sleeve (38, 49) has a cylindrical outer jacket with a constant outside diameter.

14. Implant analog according to one of claim 1, characterized in that the sleeve (38, 49) has a conical outer jacket and that the seat part (50) tapers in the direction of the sleeve part (51).
