Abstract
A soybean cultivar designated 1336024 is disclosed. The invention relates to the seeds of soybean cultivar 1336024, to the plants of soybean 1336024, to plant parts of soybean cultivar 1336024 and to methods for producing a soybean plant produced by crossing soybean cultivar 1336024 with itself or with another soybean variety. The invention also relates to methods for producing a soybean plant containing in its genetic material one or more transgenes and to the transgenic soybean plants and plant parts produced by those methods. This invention also relates to soybean cultivars or breeding cultivars and plant parts derived from soybean variety 1336024, to methods for producing other soybean cultivars, lines or plant parts derived from soybean cultivar 1336024 and to the soybean plants, varieties, and their parts derived from use of those methods. The invention further relates to hybrid soybean seeds, plants and plant parts produced by crossing the cultivar 1336024 with another soybean cultivar.

19. A method of introducing a desired trait into soybean cultivar 1336024 wherein the method comprises:
-
a. crossing a 1336024 plant, wherein a representative sample of seed was deposited under ATCC Accession No. PTA No. PTA-7700, with a plant of another soybean cultivar that comprises a desired trait to produce progeny plants wherein the desired trait is selected from the group consisting of male sterility, herbicide resistance, insect resistance, modified fafty acid metabolism, modified carbohydrate metabolism and resistance to bacterial disease, fungal disease or viral disease;
b. selecting one or more progeny plants that have the desired trait to produce selected progeny plants;
c. crossing the selected progeny plants with the 1336024 plants to produce backcross progeny plants;
d. selecting for backcross progeny plants that have the desired trait and all of the physiological and morphological characteristics of soybean cultivar 1336024 listed in Table 1; and
e. repeating steps (c) and (d) three or more times in succession to produce selected fourth or higher backcross progeny plants that comprise the desired trait and all of the physiological and morphological characteristics of soybean cultivar 1336024 listed in Table 1. - View Dependent Claims (20, 21, 22, 23)
