1. A system for treating a heart comprising:
- an inflatable support structure configured for implantation in a pericardial space, the support structure configured to transfer a force from the pericardium through the support structure to a selected region of the epicardium;
the support structure further configured to be deliverable to the pericardial space through an opening in the pericardium no larger than about 1.5 cm; and
an implantable tube in fluid communication with the support structure for providing fluid to inflate the support structure.
