1. An alignment guide for use in femoral head surgery comprising:
- a support member comprising a cannulated rod;
at least three locator arms at least a portion of at least one of which comprises a cantilever spring, each of said arms having a proximal end connected to the support member and a distal end having location means for location at the femoral head/neck junction, said at least three locator arms being spaced such that in use they extend around the femoral head and prevent relative movement between the alignment guide and the femoral head.
