b) a plurality of hybrid circuits, each particular hybrid circuit for interchangeably performing as one of a logic circuit and an interconnect circuit in the configurable IC, wherein each particular hybrid circuit comprises;
i) a first interconnect circuit having a select terminal set, and ii) a second interconnect circuit for (1) receiving the configuration data, (2) receiving output data from the configurable circuits, and (3) supplying part of the received data to the select terminal set.

Some embodiments of the invention provide a configurable integrated circuit (“IC”). This IC includes several configurable circuits for receiving configuration data and configurably performing a set of operations based on the configuration data. It also includes several hybrid circuits. Each particular hybrid circuit can interchangeably perform as either a logic circuit or an interconnect circuit in the configurable IC.
