Abstract

An apparatus receives an instruction indicating a time when a query for the data acquisition is to be executed. The apparatus executes the query at the time indicated in the received instruction, and generates a document using data acquired from the execution of the query.

Claims

1. An apparatus comprising:

an input unit configured to receive an instruction indicating a time when a query for data acquisition is to be executed;

an executing unit configured to execute the query at the time indicated in the instruction received by the input unit; and

a generating unit configured to generate a document using data acquired from the execution of the query by the executing unit.

2. The apparatus according to claim 1,

wherein the executing unit executes the query at multiple times indicated in the instruction received by the input unit.

3. The apparatus according to claim 1,

wherein the executing unit executes a plurality of queries and stores execution results of the plurality of queries with identifiers for identifying which queries the execution results correspond to.

4. A method comprising:

receiving an instruction indicating a time when data is to be acquired;

acquiring data at the time indicated in the received instruction; and

generating a document using the acquired data.

5. The method according to claim 4,

wherein the instruction indicates a first point in time when data is to be acquired and a second point in time when data is to be acquired.

6. The method according to claim 5, further comprising:

acquiring data at the first point in time and the second point in time as indicated in the received instruction; and

generating the document using the data acquired at the first point in time and at the second point in time.

7. The method according to claim 6, further comprising:

storing the data acquired at the first point in time and at the second point in time, wherein the acquired data are stored with identifiers for identifying which point in time the acquired data correspond to.

8. A computer program stored on a computer-readable medium, including instructions which, when executed by an apparatus, causes the apparatus to perform operations comprising:

receiving an instruction indicating a time when data is to be acquired;

acquiring data at the time indicated in the received instruction; and

generating a document using the acquired data.

9. The computer program according to claim 8,

wherein the instruction indicates a first point in time when data is to be acquired and a second point in time when data is to be acquired.

10. The computer program according to claim 9, wherein the operations further comprises:

acquiring data at the first point in time and the second point in time as indicated in the received instruction; and

generating the document using the data acquired at the first point in time and at the second point in time.

11. The computer program according to claim 10, wherein the operations further comprises:

storing the data acquired at the first point in time and at the second point in time, wherein the acquired data are stored with identifiers for identifying which point in time the acquired data correspond to.
