Abstract

A system and method are provided to generate a dynamic web services interface model. In one embodiment, description content of a Web Service Definition Language (WSDL) file is identified. A first metadata and a second metadata are extracted from the description content. A dynamic web services interface model is created via the first metadata and the second metadata.

Claims

1. A method comprising:

identifying description content of a Web Service Definition Language (WSDL) file;

extracting a first metadata and a second metadata from the description content;

and

creating a dynamic web services interface model via the first metadata and the second metadata.

2. The method of claim 1, further comprising parsing the description content into a first description content and a second description content.

3. The method of claim 1, wherein extracting comprises extracting the first metadata from the first description content, and extracting the second metadata from the second description content.

4. The method of claim 2, wherein the first description content comprises interface description, and the second description content comprises schema type description.

5. The method of claim 1, wherein the first metadata comprises interface metadata, and the second metadata comprises type metadata.

6. The method of claim 5, further comprising creating an interface metadata model via the interface metadata, and creating a type metadata model via the type metadata.

7. The method of claim 1, wherein creating comprises creating the dynamic web services interface model via the interface metadata model and the type metadata model.

8. The method of claim 1, further comprising providing a dynamic web services application programming interface (API) via the dynamic web services interface model.

16. The method of claim 1, wherein the means for extracting comprises means for extracting the first metadata from the first description content, and extracting the second metadata from the second description content

9. A system comprising:

an identifying module to identify description content of a Web Service Definition Language (WSDL) file;

an extractor to extract a first metadata and a second metadata from the description content; and

a model builder to create a dynamic web services interface model via the first metadata and the second metadata.

10. The system of claim 9, further comprising a parser to parse the description content into a first description content and a second description content.

11. The system of claim 9, wherein the extractor is further to extract the first metadata from the first description content, and extracting the second metadata from the second description content.

12. The system of claim 10, wherein the first description content comprises interface description, and the second description content comprises schema type description.

13. The system of claim 9, wherein the first metadata comprises interface metadata, and the second metadata comprises type metadata.

14. An apparatus comprising:

means for identifying description content of a Web Service Definition Language (WSDL) file;

means for extracting a first metadata and a second metadata from the description content; and

means for creating a dynamic web services interface model via the first metadata and the second metadata.

15. The apparatus of claim 14, further comprising means for parsing the description content into a first description content and a second description content.

17. An article of manufacture comprising a machine-accessible medium having instructions which when executed cause a machine to:

identify description content of a Web Service Definition Language (WSDL) file;

extract a first metadata and a second metadata from the description content; and

create a dynamic web services interface model via the first metadata and the second metadata.

18. The article of manufacture of claim 17, wherein the instructions which when executed further cause the machine to parse the description content into a first description content and a second description content.

19. The article of manufacture of claim 17, wherein instructions causing the machine to extract comprises extracting the first metadata from the first description content, and extracting the second metadata from the second description content.

20. The article of manufacture of claim 18, wherein the first description content comprises interface description, and the second description content comprises schema type description.
