120. A system for displaying a cyclically moving inspected organ, said inspected organ moving according to an organ motion cycle, the system comprising:
-
an organ timing signal monitor, for detecting a real-time organ timing signal, associated with said inspected organ;
a display unit including semi-transparent goggles;
a medical positioning system (MPS), including a patient MPS sensor and a goggles MPS sensor, said patient MPS sensor being firmly attached to a patient, said goggles MPS sensor being firmly attached to said goggles, said MPS detecting the location and orientation of said patient MPS sensor and said goggles MPS sensor in a single coordinate system;
an image database storing a plurality of pre-acquired images, each said pre-acquired images being associated with a certain cycle position in said organ motion cycle, each of said pre-acquired images being three dimensionally associated with said single coordinate system;
a processor, coupled with said MPS, with said image database, with said display unit and with said organ timing signal monitor, said processor selecting one of said pre-acquired images associated with a real-time cycle position in said real-time organ timing signal, said processor further determining a viewing plane according to the relative location and orientation of said patient MPS sensor and said goggles MPS sensor and, said processor rendering said selected pre-acquired image to said viewing plane, and wherein said goggles displaying said rendered selected pre-acquired image. - View Dependent Claims (121, 122, 123, 124, 125)
