Abstract

In embodiments of the present invention improved capabilities are described for receiving a request from a mobile communication facility, receiving information relating to the mobile communication facility, generating at least one suggestion based at least in part on the request, and presenting at least one suggestion to the mobile communication facility. Improved capabilities are also described for receiving a keystroke combination from a mobile communication facility, receiving information relating to the mobile communication facility, generating at least one suggestion based at least in part on a letter combination associated with the keystroke combination and in part on the information relating to the mobile communication facility, and presenting at least one suggestion to the mobile communication facility.

Claims

1. A method of creating mobile search suggestions comprising:

receiving a request from a mobile communication facility;

receiving information relating to the mobile communication facility;

generating at least one suggestion based at least in part on the request and based at least in part on information relating to the mobile communication facility; and

presenting the at least one suggestion to the mobile communication facility.

2. The method of claim 1, wherein the request is associated with a phone client application.

7. The method of claim 1, wherein the request includes a partial term query.

12. The method of claim 1, wherein the request is translated from a lingo database.

15. The method of claim 1, wherein the request is associated with a search vertical.

44. The method of claim 1, wherein the request is associated with a human language.

56. The method of claim 1, wherein the request is associated with a handset.

57. The method of claim 1, wherein the request is associated with an input box.

71. The method of claim 1, wherein the mobile communication facility is a phone.

75. The method of claim 1, wherein the information relating to a mobile communication facility is a user characteristic.

presenting the at least one suggestion to the mobile communication facility.

a presenting facility adapted to present the at least one suggestion to the mobile communication facility.
