Abstract

A data storing apparatus that wirelessly transmits data, wherein the apparatus is deformable so as to block wireless transmission of data when the apparatus is in the deformed state.

Claims

1. A data storing apparatus that wirelessly transmits data, wherein the apparatus is deformable so as to block wireless transmission of data when the apparatus is in the deformed state.

2. The data storing apparatus as claimed in claim 1, wherein the deformed state is a folded state.

3. The data storing apparatus as claimed in claim 2, wherein the apparatus comprises an antenna coil whose reception and transmission sensitivity is reduced when the apparatus is in the folded state.

4. The data storing apparatus as claimed in claim 3, wherein an effective area of the antenna coil is reduced relative to an external field when the apparatus is in the folded state.

The data storing apparatus as claimed in claim 1, wherein the apparatus comprises an envelope section and an internal section which can be displaced relative to the envelope section and is at least partially arranged in the envelope section, and wireless transmission of data is blocked when the internal section of the apparatus has been pushed into the envelope section.

The data storing apparatus as claimed in claim 5, wherein the envelope section comprises an antenna and contacts which are connected to the antenna and contact-connect contacts of the internal section when the internal section has been pulled out, and the contacts of the internal section are connected to a transmission device of the apparatus.

The data storing apparatus as claimed in claim 1, wherein the apparatus comprises a light sensor, and wireless transmission of data is blocked when illumination intensity detected by the light sensor is below a limit value, and the light sensor is covered with an opaque cover when the apparatus is in the deformed state.

8. The data storing apparatus as claimed in claim 1, wherein the apparatus comprises an energy receiving antenna for operating the apparatus.

9. The data storing apparatus as claimed in claim 8, wherein the apparatus is supplied solely with energy induced by the energy receiving antenna, and bidirectional data interchange occurs simultaneously.

10. The data storing apparatus as claimed in claim 1, wherein the apparatus is a card for storing personal data.

11. The data storing apparatus as claimed in claim 1, wherein the apparatus comprises a contactless cash card function.

12. The data storing apparatus as claimed in claim 1, wherein the apparatus comprises readable information which is covered by a portion of the apparatus in the deformed state during which wireless transmission of data is blocked.

13. An apparatus comprising:

a transmitter configured to transmit data wirelessly;

a mechanical deforming unit configured to change an outer form of the apparatus at least partially; and

a blocking unit configured to enable or disable the transmission of data,

wherein the mechanical deforming unit is coupled to the blocking unit to initiate the enabling or disabling.

14. An apparatus that stores data and wirelessly transmits the stored data, the apparatus comprising a means for blocking the transmission of the stored data, and a means for changing a form of the apparatus in order to decrease the transmission.
