1. A method for supporting wireless communication, the method comprising:
- communicating NFC data via a first signal generated by a first programmable synthesizer;
communicating Bluetooth data via a second signal generated by a second programmable synthesizer; and
controlling said first programmable synthesizer and said second programmable synthesizer via a frequency controller communicatively coupled to an NFC processor that enables said communicating of said NFC data and to a Bluetooth processor that enables said communicating of said Bluetooth data.

Abstract
Frequency conversion methods and systems for a transceiver for Bluetooth and near field communication. NFC data may be received and/or transmitted via the NFC radio and Bluetooth data may be received and/or transmitted via the Bluetooth radio. With an integration of frequency conversion for Bluetooth and NFC, both systems may operate from a single frequency source, thereby reducing part count and power consumption. Communication between Bluetooth and NFC channels may be enabled via a single chip.
