1. A system for locating and tracking an object, the system comprising:

(b) a locating device configured to determine a location of the object;
(c) a tracking system configured to store tracking information associated with the object; and
(d) a communications system configured to communicate a signal to a remote computer device that identifies the location of the object and includes the tracking information associated with the object.
