Hose Connection Device
First Claim
1. A method for temporarily coupling of a hose to a pipe system, where a first coupling part is connected to the hose, and a second coupling part is connected to the pipe system, where both the first and the second coupling part comprises valves that automatically closes when said first and second coupling parts are not connected to each other, wherein said first and second coupling part are brought into interaction with each other to establish a tight connection before the valves in the coupling parts are opened and where the coupling parts are locked to each other.

Abstract
Method for transfer and connection operation of a bulk hose between a vessel and an offshore drilling or operating platform, the system comprising a hose, means for storage of the hose onboard the platform and connecting means onboard the vessel for secure connection of the hose to the ship, wherein a forerunner connected to the hose end to be connected to the ship brought into interaction with a catching device connected to the connecting means, and the forerunner is pulled in to bring the connector at the end of the hose into interaction with the connector in the connecting means, is described. A device for performing the method and part of the system are also described.
