1. A portable monitoring assembly comprising:
- a cellular phone being capable of capturing images;
an operation base comprisingan alarming module being used to output an alarm; and
a connecting interface mounted on the operation base to detachablely connect to the cellular phone;
a phone controlling process installed in the cellular phone to establish a communication between the cellular phone and the operation base; and
an image analyzing process controlling the alarming module to output the alarm if any moving object in the captured images is detected.

A portable monitoring assembly has a cellular phone, an operation base, a phone controlling process and an image analyzing process. The cellular phone is capable of capturing images. The operation base has an alarming module and a connecting interface. The connecting interface is mounted on the operation base to detachablely connect to the cellular phone. The phone controlling process is installed in the cellular phone to establish a communication between the cellular phone and the operation base. The image analyzing process controls the alarming module to output an alarm if any moving object in the captured images is detected. Because the cellular phone and the operation base are easily and conveniently to be carried by a user, the user can set the monitoring assembly at any desired position.
