Abstract

A light-emitting unit includes a bounding frame, a first light-emitting element, a second light-emitting element, and a first reflecting sheet. The first light-emitting element and the second light-emitting element are disposed in the bounding frame, and emit light in different directions. The first reflecting sheet is disposed on the bounding frame, and has a reflecting surface on one side away from the bounding frame.

Claims

1. A light-emitting unit, comprising:

a bounding frame;

a first light-emitting element emitting light with a first direction;

a second light-emitting element emitting light with a second direction, wherein the first light-emitting element and the second light-emitting element are disposed in the bounding frame, and the first direction is away from the second light-emitting element and the second direction is away from the first light-emitting element; and

a first reflecting sheet, disposed on the bounding frame, having a reflecting surface on one side away from the bounding frame.

2. The light-emitting unit of claim 1, wherein the bounding frame comprises a wall separating the light from the first light-emitting element and the light from the second light-emitting element.

3. The light-emitting unit of claim 2, wherein the bounding frame further comprises a bottom reflecting surface disposed under the first light-emitting element and the second light-emitting element.

4. The light-emitting unit of claim 3, wherein the bounding frame further comprises a top reflecting surface disposed above the first light-emitting element and the second light-emitting element.

5. The light-emitting unit of claim 1, wherein the first light-emitting element and the second light-emitting element emit light in opposite directions.

6. The light-emitting unit of claim 1, wherein at least one of the first light-emitting element and the second light-emitting element comprises a light emitting diode (LED).

14. The light-emitting unit of claim 1, wherein the bounding frame comprises a first bounding frame having a first opening facing the first direction and a second bounding frame having a second opening facing the second direction.

15. The light-emitting unit of claim 14, wherein the first light-emitting element is disposed in the first bounding frame and the second light-emitting element is disposed in the second bounding frame.

16. The light-emitting unit of claim 1, further comprising a plurality of third light-emitting elements emitting light with the first direction and a plurality of fourth light-emitting elements emitting light with the second direction, wherein the first and third light-emitting elements are arranged in a first line and the second and fourth light-emitting elements are arranged in a second line, wherein the first line is parallel to the second line.

17. The light-emitting unit of claim 16, wherein a color of the first light-emitting element is different from that of the second light-emitting element.

7. A backlight module, comprising:

a bounding frame;

a first light-emitting element emitting light with a first direction;

a second light-emitting element emitting light with a second direction, wherein the first light-emitting element and the second light-emitting element are disposed in the bounding frame, and the first direction is away from the second light-emitting element and the second direction is away from the first light-emitting element;

a first reflecting sheet disposed on the bounding frame, comprising a first reflecting surface disposed on one side away from the bounding frame; and

a second reflecting sheet disposed under the bounding frame, comprising a second reflecting surface substantially toward top side of the bounding frame.

8. The backlight module of claim 7, wherein the bounding frame comprises a wall separating the light from the first light-emitting element and the light from the second light-emitting element.

9. The backlight module of claim 8, wherein the bounding frame further comprises a bottom reflecting surface disposed under the first light-emitting element and the second light-emitting element.

10. The backlight module of claim 9, wherein the bounding frame further comprises a top reflecting surface disposed above the first light-emitting element and the second light-emitting element.

11. The backlight module of claim 7, wherein the first light-emitting element and the second light-emitting element emit light in opposite directions.

12. The backlight module of claim 7, wherein at least one of the first light-emitting element and the second light-emitting element comprises a light emitting diode (LED).

13. The backlight module of claim 7, wherein the second reflecting sheet is wave-shaped or polygon-shaped.

18. The backlight module of claim 7, wherein the bounding frame comprises a first bounding frame having a first opening facing the first direction and a second bounding frame having a second opening facing the second direction.

19. The backlight module of claim 18, wherein the first light-emitting element is disposed in the first bounding frame and the second light-emitting element is disposed in the second bounding frame.

20. The backlight module of claim 7, further comprising a plurality of third light-emitting elements emitting light with the first direction and a plurality of fourth light-emitting elements emitting light with the second direction, wherein the first and third light-emitting elements are arranged in a first line and the second and fourth light-emitting elements are arranged in a second line, wherein the first line is parallel to the second line.

21. The backlight module of claim 20, wherein a color of the first light-emitting element is different from that of the second light-emitting element.
