Abstract

A golf putter has a shaft with a grip at a proximal end and a head at a distal end of the shaft for contacting a golf ball on the ground during putting of the golf ball. The head includes an elongate blade having opposed ends, with a top side and a bottom side, a first linear edge extending therebetween, a back edge opposed to the first linear edge, a heel edge extending between the first linear edge and the back edge, a toe edge opposing the heel edge, and a first substantially round weight portion between the heel edge and the back edge. The head includes a second substantially round weight portion between the toe edge and the back edge and the top side, and the first substantially round weight portion and the second substantially round weight portion forms the likeness of a mouse ear.

Claims

1. ) A golf putter having a shaft with a grip at a proximal end and a head at a distal end of the shaft for contacting a golf ball on the ground during putting of the golf ball, the head comprising:

an elongate blade having opposed ends, with a top side and a bottom side,

a first linear edge extending therebetween,

a back edge opposed to said first linear edge,

a heel edge extending between said first linear edge and said back edge,

a toe edge opposing said heel edge,

a first weight including a first substantially round weight portion between said heel edge and said back edge.

2. ) A golf putter as in claim 1, wherein said head includes a second weight including a second substantially round weight portion between said toe edge and said back edge.

3. ) A golf putter as in claim 2, and wherein said top side, said first substantially round weight portion and said second substantially round weight portion forms a mouse ear shape.

4. ) A golf putter as in claim 1, wherein said first weight includes a first elongated body member.

5. ) A golf putter as in claim 2, wherein said second weight includes a second elongated body member.

6. ) A golf putter as in claim 1, wherein said first weight is removable.

7. ) A golf putter as in claim 2, wherein said second weight is removable.

8. ) A golf putter as in claim 1, wherein said top side includes alignment indicia.

9. ) A golf putter as in claim 8, wherein said alignment indicia includes a first concave indicia.

10. ) A golf putter as in claim 9, wherein said alignment indicia includes a second concave indicia.

11. ) A golf putter as in claim 1, wherein said head includes a first concave edge extending from said first substantially round weight portion.

12. ) A golf putter as in claim 2, wherein said head includes a second concave edge extending from said second substantially round weight portion.

13. ) A golf putter as in claim 1, wherein said first substantially round weight portion includes a first bottom side aperture.

14. ) A golf putter as in claim 2, wherein said second substantially round weight portion includes a second bottom side aperture.

15. ) A golf putter as in claim 2, wherein said first weight is weighted differently than said second weight.

21. ) A golf putter as in claim 1, wherein said first weight is integral with said head.

22. ) A golf putter as in claim 2, wherein said second weight is integral with said head.

23. ) A golf putter as in claim 1, wherein said golf putter includes a first detachedly connected weight being detachedly connected with said first weight.

24. ) A golf putter as in claim 2, wherein said golf putter includes a second detachedly connected weight being detachedly connected with said second weight.

16. ) A putter head for contacting a golf ball on the ground during putting of the golf ball, the putter head comprising:

an elongate blade having opposed ends, with a top side and a bottom side,

a first linear edge extending therebetween,

a back edge opposed to said first linear edge,

a heel edge extending between said first linear edge and said back edge,

a toe edge opposing said heel edge,

a first weight including a first substantially round weight portion between said heel edge and said back edge.

17. ) A putter head as in claim 16, wherein said head includes a second weight including a second substantially round weight portion between said toe edge and said back edge.

18. ) A putter head as in claim 17, and wherein said top side, said first substantially round weight portion and said second substantially round weight portion forms a mouse ear shape.

19. ) A putter head as in claim 16, wherein said first weight includes a first elongated body member.

20. ) A putter head as in claim 17, wherein said second weight includes a second elongated body member.
