- displaying a vehicle seat component infrastructure associated with the vehicle seat design within a computer assisted drawing (CAD) application;
importing a body pressure distribution (BPD) data object suitable for use with the CAD application, the BPD object being used to characterize a body pressure distribution (BPD) diagram for the seat component; and
overlaying the BPD data object relative to the vehicle seat component infrastructure in order to assess pressure distribution of the vehicle seat component infrastructure.
