Abstract

An interactive game in which a player and a gaming organization are each assigned game indicia. The game includes identifying a first game indicia selected by the game player with a first game indicia selected by the gaming organization thereafter, whereupon the player and the gaming organization each then select the remaining game indicia for the game. The gaming organization'"'"'s selections are disclosed to the game player during each of its turns, so the game player can calculate the possibility before making his next selection. The game player is credited with a match for each of his or her selected indicium that matches the indicium selected by the gaming organization in that turn.

Claims

1. A wagering game method in which a game player and a gaming organization are each assigned game indicia from a series of game indicia, said method comprising the steps of:

(1) receiving sequentially at the gaming organization a first plurality of indicia from the game player for at least one game;

(2) generating sequentially at the gaming organization a second plurality of indicia, wherein an indicia in the second plurality of indicia being generated after an indicia in the first plurality of indicia is received from the game player;

(3) displaying sequentially the second plurality of indicia to the game player in the order the second plurality of indicia is generated;

(4) identifying sequentially a number of matches between the first plurality of indicia and the second plurality of indicia selected during the at least one game; and

(5) awarding a prize based on the number of matches.

2. The game method of claim 1, further comprising the steps of:

starting a timer; and

generating an indicia for the game player if an indicia has not received from the game player when the timer expires.

3. The game method of claim 1, further comprising the step of removing from a graphical user interface at least one indicia from the second plurality of indicia if the at least one indicia does not match an indicia from the first plurality of indicia received from the at least one game.

4. The game method of claim 1, further comprising the step of displaying sequentially the first plurality of indicia through a graphical user interface.

5. The game method of claim 1, further comprising the step of displaying sequentially the second plurality of indicia through a graphical user interface.

6. The game method of claim 1, further comprising the step of the gaming organization randomly selecting the game player'"'"'s game indicia.

7. The game method of claim 1, wherein the steps (1) through (5) are iterated at least twice.

8. The game method of claim 7 in which the prize is awarded based on cumulative matches for multiple iterations of a game.

9. The gaming method of claim 1, further comprising the step of multiplying the prize by a multiplying factor.

10. A system for playing a wagering game method in which a game player and a lottery authority are each assigned game indicia from a series of game indicia, the system comprising:

an input device for receiving player indicia from a game player;

a game indicia generator for generating lottery indicia for the lottery authority according to a predefined possibility, wherein the player indicia and the lottery indicia being received and generated alternately;

a display device for displaying game indicia to the game player; and

a controller for determining a number of matches between the player indicia and the lottery indicia, the controller being also capable of awarding a prize to the game player according to the number of matches between the player indicia and the lottery indicia,

11. The system of claim 10, further comprising a timer, and the game indicia generator further being capable of generating a player indicia for the game player if a player indicia is not received from the game player when the timer expires.

12. A computer-readable medium on which is stored a computer program for hosting a wagering game method for a gaming organization in which a game player and a gaming organization each are assigned game indicia from a series of game indicia, the computer program comprising computer instructions that when executed by a computer performs the steps of:

(1) receiving sequentially at the gaming organization a first plurality of indicia from the game player for at least one game;

(2) generating sequentially at the gaming organization a second plurality of indicia, wherein an indicia in the second plurality of indicia being generated after an indicia in the first plurality of indicia is received from the game player;

(3) displaying sequentially the second plurality of indicia to the game player in the order the second plurality of indicia is generated;

(4) identifying sequentially a number of matches between the first plurality of indicia and the second plurality of indicia selected during the at least one game; and

(5) awarding a prize based on the number of matches.

13. The computer program of claim 12, further performs the steps of:

starting a timer; and

generating an indicia for the game player if an indicia has not received from the game player when the timer expires.

14. The computer program of claim 12, further performs the step of removing from a graphical user interface at least one indicia from the second plurality of indicia if the at least one indicia does not match an indicia from the first plurality of indicia received from the at least one game.

15. The computer program of claim 12, further performs the step of displaying sequentially the first plurality of indicia through a graphical user interface.

16. The computer program of claim 12, further performs the step of displaying sequentially the second plurality of indicia through a graphical user interface.

17. The computer program of claim 12, further performs the step of the gaming organization randomly selecting the game player'"'"'s game indicia.

18. The computer program of claim 12, wherein the steps (1) through (5) are performed at least twice.

19. The game method of claim 18 in which the prize is awarded based on cumulative matches for multiple iterations of a game.

20. The computer program of claim 12, further performs the step of multiplying the prize by a multiplying factor.
