Abstract

A method and system receives at a server a search request and processes the search request to determine a context of the search request, then determines, based on the context, a network route to an application server having the closest geographic proximity, with respect to the server, to the most relevant database associated with the context.

Claims

1. A method, including:

receiving a search request at a server;

processing the search request to determine a context of the search request; and

determining, based on the context, a network route to an application server having the closest geographic proximity, with respect to the server, to the most relevant database associated with the context.

2. A method, including:

receiving network traffic at a server wherein the network traffic includes one or more URLs (uniform resource locators); and

determining within a selected URL of the one or more URLs a context by parsing and analyzing text within the selected URL.
