1. A method of presenting a signable document to a signer for authentication, comprising formatting the signable document as an electronic package, the electronic package utilizing at least a first storage format, responding to a request to sign documents from a signer by presenting the user with an access demonstration document formatted in the first storage format;
- requiring delivery from the user of information presented in the access demonstration document;
in response to correct delivery by the user of information presented in the access demonstration document, presenting the signable document to the user in an authentication session of the user; and
acquiring authentication of the signable document from the user in the authentication session.

Abstract
A method, apparatus and program product provide a mechanism for managing the execution of electronic documents using electronic signatures. Documents requiring electronic signatures are automatically identified, mined, trimmed and split from a printer control data language stream. Status information pertaining to needed data, signatories, signature completions and authentication attempts is related to users during and after an electronic signing sequence.

3. A method of presenting a document to a signer for authentication, comprising
formatting the signable document as an electronic package, the electronic package identifying locations on the document for the signer to provide authentication comprising one or more of an electronic signature, electronic identification of a boolean variable, electronic identification of one of several logically exclusive choices, and electronic delivery of alphanumerically expressed information; - and
acquiring authentication of the signable document from the user in an authentication session by obtaining for the locations on the document identified in the electronic package, the form of authentication identified therefor.

4. A method of presenting a document to multiple signers for electronic authentication, comprising
receiving the document as an electronic package, the packaging including data indicative of the users required to sign the document; -
storing an association of the first and second users with the document;
responding to a request to sign documents from the first user by presenting the document to the first user for authentication and receiving authentication from the first user in an authentication session of the first user; and
responding to a request to sign documents from the second user by presenting the document to the second user for authentication while the document is being presented to the first user for authentication, and receiving authentication from the second user in an authentication session of the second user that is at least partially concurrent with the authentication session of the first user.

5. A method of presenting multiple documents to multiple parties for electronic authentication, comprising:

associating each of the documents with a processor responsible for processing the documents through authentication, the processing including authentication by the processor or a representative of the processor;
authenticating the documents for the processor by generating an authentication of the processor or representative of the processor on each of the documents by a batch authentication process; and
