- a plurality of cycles, each of which carries a locking member; and
a plurality of fixed locking stations each of which is provided with at least one keeper adapted to receive the locking member of one of the cycles and to retain said locking member once said locking member reaches a locking position;
said automatic cycle storage system being characterized in that the locking member is mounted to move on the cycle a in a manner such that the locking member allowed to move to some extent at least vertically relative to said cycle.

An automatic cycle storage system, in which the cycle has at least one electrical circuit, the keeper and the locking member having electrical contacts disposed facing one another so as to connect the electrical circuit of the cycle to the locking station when said cycle is locked to said locking station, and,
in which the locking member has a circular hub having a central axis that is parallel to the pivot axis and the slot has a circular outer edge that is substantially centered on said central axis, the keeper having an abutment edge that co-operates by abutment with the hub so as to limit the extent to which the locking member can engage horizontally into the keeper, and the catch member co-operating with said outer edge of the slot to prevent the locking member from coming back out of the keeper when the cycle is locked to the locking station; -
in which the locking member is provided with a slot adapted to receive a catch member belonging to the keeper, said slot leaving vertical clearance between the catch member and the locking member so as to accommodate said movement to some extent of the locking member;
in which the locking member is mounted to pivot relative to the cycle about a horizontal pivot axis;
a plurality of cycles, each of which carries a locking member;
a plurality of fixed locking stations each of which is provided with at least one keeper adapted to receive the locking member of one of the cycles and to retain said locking member once said locking member reaches a locking position;
said automatic cycle storage system being characterized in that the locking member is mounted to move on the cycle in a manner such that the locking member is allowed to move to some extent at least vertically relative to said cycle;
in which said electrical contacts comprise at least;
a contact zone that is curved in general shape, that has a concave side facing said central axis, and that belongs to a first element chosen from the locking member and the keeper; and
a complementary electrical contact that is in resilient abutment against said contact zone that is curved in general shape when the cycle is locked to the locking station, said complementary electrical contact belonging to a second element chosen from the locking member and the keeper. - View Dependent Claims (13, 14, 15, 16, 17)
