Programmable/semi-programmable pickup and transducer switching system
First Claim
1. A programmable/semi-programmable pickup and transducer switching system comprising:
- a control;
a plurality of switches communicatively interconnected to the control;
an encoder communicatively interconnected to the control;
a memory/buffer/drive with switching element options for passive or active pickup switching, said memory/buffer/drive being communicatively interconnected to the control; and
a display system communicatively interconnected to the memory/buffer/drive, the display system including at least one transparent fastening screw with an associated light emitting diode (LED) configured to provide a visual indication of an associated pickup activity.

20. A programmable/semi-programmable pickup and transducer switching method comprising:
-
providing a control; providing a plurality of switches communicatively interconnected to the control; providing an encoder communicatively interconnected to the control; providing a memory/buffer/drive with switching element options for passive or active pickup switching, said memory/buffer/drive being communicatively interconnected to the control; providing a display system communicatively interconnected to the memory/buffer/drive, the display system including at least one transparent fastening screw with an associated light emitting diode (LED) configured to provide a visual indication of an associated pickup activity; positioning a five position blade switch to a predetermined position to hold a programmable preset; rotating the encoder to audition sound selections or pickup combinations; pressing a SAVE/STORE switch to memorize a selection; moving the five position blade switch away and moving the five position switch to the predetermined position; remembering the predetermined position; and repeating the previous positioning, rotating, pressing, moving and remembering steps throughout five, fifteen, or twenty-five predetermined positions.
