1. A system for regulating a power converter, the system comprising:

  • a signal processing component configured to receive a first voltage and a second voltage, to process information associated with the first voltage and the second voltage, to determine a signal based on at least information associated with the first voltage and the second voltage, and to send the signal to a switch for a power converter, the switch being regulated based on at least information associated with the signal;

    wherein the signal processing component is further configured to;

    if the first voltage is higher than a first threshold, determine the signal to be associated with a first mode;

    if the first voltage is lower than a second threshold and the second voltage is higher than a third threshold, determine the signal to be associated with a second mode;

    if the first voltage is lower than the second threshold and the second voltage is lower than the third threshold, determine the signal to be associated with a third mode;

    wherein;

    if the signal is associated with the first mode, the signal processing component causes the switch to be modulated at a first frequency;

    if the signal is associated with the second mode, the signal processing component causes the switch not to be modulated;

    if the signal is associated with the third mode, the signal processing component causes the switch to be closed for a period of time.
