Abstract

A device for the dosed administration of a fluid product including a housing, a conveying device for the product, a drive element influenced by the selection of a product dose, a coupling input member coupled to the drive element, a coupling output member coupled to the conveying device, a retaining device which maintains the coupling elements in a maintaining position uncoupled from each other, wherein at least one of the coupling elements is displaceable by a coupling movement from the maintaining position into a coupling state, and wherein a driving force of the drive element causes a dosing movement of the conveying device via the coupling element.

Claims

1. A device for the dosed administration of a fluid product comprising a housing, a conveying device for the product, a drive element influenced by the selection of a product dose, a coupling input member coupled to the drive element, a coupling output member coupled to the conveying device, a retaining device which maintains the coupling elements in a maintaining position uncoupled from each other, wherein at least one of the coupling elements is displaceable by a coupling movement from the maintaining position into a coupling state, and wherein a driving force of the drive element causes a dosing movement of the conveying device via the coupling element.

2. A device for administering a fluid product in doses, said device including:

a) a casing comprising a reservoir for the product;

b) a conveying means for the product;

c) a drive member influenced by setting a product dosage;

d) a coupler input member coupled to the drive member;

e) a coupler output member coupled to the conveying means;

f) and a holding means which holds the coupler members in a holding position, decoupled from each other,

g) wherein at least one of the coupler members can be moved by a coupler movement from the holding position into a coupler engagement in which a drive force of the drive member causes a delivery movement of the conveying means via the coupler members.

3. The device according to claim 2, wherein the holding means includes a restoring member and the restoring member charges the at least one coupler member performing the coupler movement with an elastic restoring force acting counter to the coupler movement.

The device according to claim 3, wherein the restoring member is supported, counter to the direction of the coupler movement, on the coupler input member or a structure which is connected to the coupler input member such that it cannot be moved counter to the direction of the coupler movement, at least in the holding position of the coupler members, or can only be moved as far as a stopper.

The device according to claim 3, wherein the restoring member is supported, in the direction of the coupler movement, on the casing or on a structure which is connected to the second casing part such that it cannot be moved in the direction of the coupler movement relative to the second casing part, at least in the holding position of the coupler members.

6. The device according to claim 3, wherein the restoring member is supported, in the direction of the coupler movement, on a conveying member of the conveying means.

The device according to claim 3, wherein the restoring member is supported, in the direction of the coupler movement, on the coupler output member or on a connecting part, wherein the connecting part is connected to the coupler output member such that it cannot be moved in the direction of the coupler movement relative to the coupler output member, at least in the holding position of the coupler members.

8. The device according to claim 2, wherein the coupler output member is fixed relative to the casing in the holding position of the coupler members, such that it cannot perform any movement which would cause the delivery movement.

9. The device according to claim 2, further comprising a coupler intermediate member which fixes the coupler output member relative to the casing in a blocking engagement.

10. The device according to claim 9, wherein the coupler intermediate member can be moved in the direction of the coupler movement, out of the blocking engagement.

11. The device according to claim 9, wherein the restoring member acts on the coupler input member via the coupler intermediate member.

12. The device according to claim 2, further comprising a dosing member for setting the product dosage, which is coupled to the coupler input member and decoupled from the conveying means in the holding position of the coupler members.

The device according to claim 2, further comprising a dosing member for setting a product dosage, which is coupled to the drive member via the coupler input member, such that a dosing movement performed by the dosing member for setting the dosage charges the drive member with a force directed counter to the drive force.

14. The device according to claim 2, further comprising a dosage display for displaying a settable product dosage, which is coupled to the coupler input member and decoupled from the conveying means in the holding position of the coupler members.

15. The device according to claim 2, wherein the drive member can be moved translationally relative to the casing and is coupled to the coupler input member and the casing such that a translational drive movement of the drive member causes a rotational movement of the coupler input member.

16. The device according to claim 15, wherein the drive member is in threaded engagement with the coupler input member or the casing.

17. The device according to claim 15, wherein the coupler input member performs the coupler movement and the drive member is coupled to the coupler input member such that the drive movement of the drive member causes the coupler movement.

18. The device according to claim 17, wherein the drive member slaves the coupler input member into the coupler engagement during the drive movement.

19. The device according to claim 2, wherein the drive member is guided linearly, such that it is secured against rotating.

20. The device according to claim 2, wherein the drive member rotationally drives the coupler input member.

21. The device according to claim 2, wherein the coupler input member can be axially moved for performing the coupler movement.

22. The device according to claim 2, wherein the drive member is a spring member which can be tensed by setting a product dosage.

23. The device according to claim 22, wherein the drive member is a spiral spring comprising an inner spring winding and at least one outer spring winding which surrounds the inner spring winding.

The device according to claim 2, further comprising a triggering element which, when operated, performs a triggering movement and is coupled to the at least one of the coupler members which performs the coupler movement, such that the triggering movement of the triggering element causes the coupler movement.

25. The device according to claim 24, wherein during the triggering movement, the triggering element slaves the at least one coupler member performing the coupler movement into the coupler engagement.

26. The device according to claim 24, wherein the triggering element is arranged in a proximal end region of the casing, co-axially with respect to the casing, and the triggering movement is in the distal direction relative to the casing.

27. The device according to claim 24, wherein the triggering element forms a dosing member for setting the product dosage.

28. The device according to claim 27, wherein when the product dosage is being set, the triggering element performs a dosing movement and is coupled to the coupler input member such that the dosing movement of the triggering element causes a dosing rotational movement of the coupler input member.

29. The device according to claim 24, wherein the triggering element surrounds the casing in the end region and can be rotated relative to the casing.
