Abstract

A plurality of simulators operable to decentrally execute arithmetic operations based on a plurality of simulation models which are respectively assigned to the simulators under the control of a management device. A notifying section is operable to provide a notification so as to relate information regarding one of the simulation models displayed on a display of the management device to one of the simulators which executes an arithmetic operation based on the one of the simulation models. The management device and the simulators are connected with each other via a network.

Claims

1. A decentralized simulation system, comprising:

a management device;

a plurality of simulators operable to decentrally execute arithmetic operations based on a plurality of simulation models which are respectively assigned to the simulators under the control of the management device; and

a notifying section operable to provide a notification so as to relate information regarding one of the simulation models displayed on a display of the management device to one of the simulators which executes an arithmetic operation based on the one of the simulation models,

wherein the management device and the simulators are connected with each other via a network.

2. The decentralized simulation system as set forth in claim 1, wherein:

results of the arithmetic operations in the simulators are displayed on the display; and

the notifying section displays each of the results in different style for each of the simulators so as to relate the one of the simulation models to the one of the simulator which executes the arithmetic operation based on the one of the simulation models.

3. The decentralized simulation system as set forth in claim 1, wherein:

results of the arithmetic operations in the simulators are displayed on the display; and

when a predetermined operation is executed with respect to one of the results on the display, the notifying section displays identification information of a simulator corresponding to the one of the results on the display in the vicinity of the one of the results.

4. The decentralized simulation system as set forth in claim 1, wherein:

results of the arithmetic operations in the simulators are displayed on the display; and

when a predetermined operation is executed with respect to one of the results on the display, the notifying section causes a simulator corresponding to the one of the results to provide an identifiable notification.

The decentralized simulation system as set forth in claim 1, wherein when a predetermined operation is executed with respect to one of the simulators, the notifying section displays a result of the arithmetic operation in the one of the simulators on the display in different style from a result of the arithmetic operation in the other one of the simulators.

6. The decentralized simulation system as set forth in claim 1, wherein:

at least one of the simulators includes a plurality of CPU boards operable to respectively execute the arithmetic operations based on the simulation models different from each other;

the noting section displays a hierarchical structure of the simulators in a tree form on the display; and

the notifying section displays information regarding one of the simulation models under one of the CPU boards which executes the arithmetic operation based on the one of the simulation models in the hierarchical structure.

7. The decentralized simulation system as set forth in claim 1, wherein:

at least one of the simulators includes a plurality of CPU boards operable to respectively execute the arithmetic operations based on the simulation models different from each other;

the notifying section displays a hierarchical structure of the simulators in a tree form on the display; and

the notifying section identifiably displays information regarding one of the simulation models and one of the CPU boards which executes the arithmetic operation based on the one of the simulation models on the display in different style from information regarding the other one of the simulation models and the other one of the CPU boards which executes the arithmetic operation based on the other one of the simulation models in the hierarchical structure.

8. The decentralized simulation system as set froth in claim 1, wherein:

at least one of the simulators includes a plurality of CPU boards operable to respectively execute the arithmetic operations based on the simulation models different from each other;

the notifying section displays a hierarchical structure of the simulators in a tree form on the display;

results of the arithmetic operations in the CPU boards are displayed on the display;

when a predetermined operation is executed with respect to one of the CPU boards on the display, the notifying section displays an identification information of a simulation model corresponding to the one of the CPU boards on the display in the vicinity of the one of the CPU boards; and

when the predetermined operation is executed with respect to one of the results on the display, the noting section displays an identification information of a CPU board corresponding to the one of the results on the display in the vicinity of the one of the results.

9. The decentralized simulation system as set forth in claim 1, wherein:

information regarding each of the simulators and components thereof are hierarchically displayed in a tree from on the display;

when a predetermined operation is executed with respect to the information regarding the one of the simulators on the display, the notifying section causes the one of the simulators to provide an identifiable notification.

10. A method for identifying a plurality of simulators and a plurality of simulation models in a decentralized simulation system in which the simulation models respectively assigned to the simulators under the control of a management device are decentrally executed, comprising:

visually or aurally outputting an identification information so as to relate information regarding one of the simulation models displayed on a display of the management device to one of the simulators which executes an arithmetic operation based on the one of the simulation models,

wherein the management device and the simulators are connected with each other via a network.

A method for assisting in identifying correspondence relationships between a plurality of simulators which are connected with each other via a network and a plurality of simulation models for a decentralized simulation in which arithmetic operations based on the simulation models respectively assigned to the simulators are decentrally executed, the method comprising:

displaying results of the arithmetic operations executed by the simulators on a display; and

when a predetermined operation is executed with respect to one of the results of an arithmetic operation based on one of the simulation models on the display, displaying identification information of one of the simulators which execute the arithmetic operation based on the one of the simulation models on the display in the vicinity of the one of the results.

A method for assisting in identifying correspondence relationships between a plurality of simulators which are connected with each other via a network and a plurality of simulation models for a decentralized simulation in which arithmetic operations based on the simulation models respectively assigned to the simulators are decentrally executed, the method comprising:

displaying results of the arithmetic operations executed by the simulators on a display; and

when a predetermined operation is executed with respect to one of the results of an arithmetic operation based on one of the simulation models on the display, causing one of the simulator which executes the arithmetic operation based on the one of the simulation models to provide a predetermined notification.

A method for assisting in identifying correspondence relationships between a plurality of simulators which are connected with each other via a network and a plurality of simulation models for a decentralized simulation in which arithmetic operations based on the simulation models respectively assigned to the simulators are decentrally executed, the method comprising:

simultaneously displaying results of the arithmetic operations executed by the simulators on a display; and

when a predetermined operation is executed with respect to one of the simulators, displaying one of the results of the arithmetic operations in the one of the simulators in different style from the other one of the results of the arithmetic operations in the other one of the simulators.

A management device operable to manage a decentralized simulation in which arithmetic operations based on a plurality of simulation models respectively assigned to a plurality of simulators which are connected with each other via a network are decentrally executed, the management device comprising:

a display operable to display information regarding the simulation models executed by the simulators; and

a notifying section operable to provide a notification so as to relate the displayed information regarding the simulation models to one of the simulators which executes an arithmetic operation based on the one of the simulation models.

15. A simulation system of a vehicle in which a plurality of simulators which are connected with each other via a network decentrally execute arithmetic operations based on a plurality of simulation models regarding respective parts of the vehicle, the simulation system comprising:

a display operable to display information regarding the simulation models executed by the simulators; and

a notifying section operable to provide a notification so as to relate the displayed information regarding the simulation models to one of the simulators which executes an arithmetic operation based on the one of the simulation models.
