Abstract

A system and method for facilitating asynchronous transmission of digital data between at least two parties over a communication network. The system comprises a digital data facilitator having a digital storage device for storing digital data transmitted over the communication network from a first party, the digital data facilitator having the ability to review a request transmitted from a second party, the digital data having an associated first and second identifier, the second identifier being associated with the second party, the second identifier being associated with a telephone number, the first identifier being associated with an electronic identifier of the first party.

Claims

1. A system for facilitating asynchronous transmission of digital data between at least two devices over a communication network, comprising:

a digital data facilitator having a digital storage device for storing digital data transmitted from a first device over the communication network, the digital data having an associated first identifier and a second identifier, the second identifier being associated with a second device, the first identifier being associated with said first device, the digital data facilitator having the ability to review a request from said first or second device, wherein the digital data facilitator is adapted to initiate the transmission of the digital data to the second device after verifying said first and/or second identifier.

2. The system of claim 1, wherein the first identifier is an email address, phone number or IP address associated with said first device.

3. The system of claim 1, wherein the second identifier is an email address, phone number or IP address associated with said second device.

4. The system of claim 1, wherein the second device comprises one or more selection members/buttons for providing instructions or operating various modes.

5. The system of claim 4 wherein said second device includes one or more of the following:

a selection menu, a touchscreen, or a “

check now”

button.

6. The system of claim 1, wherein the first device comprises any one of the following:

a camera, a PDA (personal digital assistant), or a wireless communicator.
