Abstract

A system and method for providing real time financial product matching is disclosed. In one embodiment, the real time financial product matching system may store one or more financial product data records. Each financial product data record may be associated with a financial product. The real time financial product matching system may receive a customer data record associated with a customer, the customer data record including a customer preference related to financial products. The real time financial product matching system may then match the customer with one or more financial products in real time by comparing the customer data record to the one or more financial product data records. And, the real time financial product matching system may present the matched one or more financial products to the customer in real time.

Claims

1. A method for providing real time financial product matching, comprising:

storing one or more financial product data records, each financial product data record being associated with a financial product;

receiving a customer data record associated with a customer, the customer data record including a customer preference related to financial products;

matching the customer with one or more financial products in real time by comparing the customer data record to the one or more financial product data records; and

presenting the matched one or more financial products to the customer in real time.

2. The method of claim 1, the method further comprising:

retrieving data from a credit rating database; and

verifying the customer data record related to the customer based on the retrieved data.

3. The method of claim 2, wherein the one or more financial product data records each includes a qualification criteria data and a product definition data.

4. The method of claim 3, wherein matching the customer further comprises:

comparing the customer data record with a qualification criteria data corresponding to a first financial product;

determining whether the customer pre-qualifies for the first financial product; and

selecting the first financial product as the one or more financial products.

5. The method of claim 1, wherein matching the customer further comprises:

selecting a first one of the one or more financial product based on the customer preference.

6. The method of claim 1, wherein matching the customer further comprises:

selecting a default financial product based on the customer data, the default financial product being associated with a less strict qualification criteria.

7. The method of claim 1, the method further comprising:

receiving an application from the customer for one of the matched one or more financial products in real time.

8. A system for real time financial product matching, comprising:

a first memory that stores program code;

a second memory that stores one or more financial product data records, each financial product data record being associated with a financial product; and

a processor that executes the program code to perform a real time financial product matching process, the process comprising;

establishing a communication session with a customer;

receiving, during the communication session, a customer data record associated with the customer, the customer data record including a customer preference related to financial products;

matching the customer with one or more financial products in real time during the communication session by comparing the customer data record to the one or more financial product data records; and

presenting the matched one or more financial products in real time during the communication session.

9. The system of claim 8, the process further comprising:

retrieving data from a credit rating database; and

verifying the customer data record related to the customer based on the retrieved data.

10. The system of claim 9, wherein the one or more financial product data records each includes a qualification criteria data and a product definition data.

11. The system of claim 10, wherein matching the customer further comprises:

comparing the customer data with a qualification criteria data corresponding to a first financial product;

determining whether the customer pre-qualifies for the first financial product; and

selecting the first financial product as the one or more financial products.

12. The system of claim 8, wherein matching customer data further comprises:

selecting a first one of the one or more financial product based on the customer preference.

13. The system of claim 8, wherein matching the customer further comprises:

selecting a default financial product based on the customer data, the default financial product being associated with a less strict qualification criteria.

14. The system of claim 8, the process further comprising:

receiving an application from the customer for one of the matched one or more financial products in real time.

15. A computer program product embodied in a computer-readable medium, the computer program product performing, when executed by a processor, a method for real time financial product matching, the computer program product further comprising:

a first program code portion executed by the processor to store one or more financial product data records, each financial product data record being associated with a financial product;

a second program code portion executed by the processor to receive a customer data record, the customer data record being associated with a customer, and to match the customer with one or more financial products in real time by comparing the customer data record associated with the customer to the matched one or more financial product data records; and

a third program code portion executed by the processor to present the matched financial products in real time.

16. The computer program of claim 15, the second program code portion executed by the processor to further verify the customer data record by applying one or more HIPs challenges.

17. The computer program of claim 15, the second program code portion executed by the processor to further verify the customer data by applying one or more individual-based gaming rules.

18. The computer program of claim 15, the second program code portion executed by the processor to further match the customer with a default financial product if the customer is not prequalified for any financial product.

19. The computer program of claim 15, the second program code portion executed by the processor to further receive an application from the customer for one of the matched one or more financial products in real time.

20. The computer program of claim 19, the second program code portion executed by the processor to further process the received application from the customer in real time, and generate notification indicating whether the customer is approved for the applied product.
