Abstract

In various embodiments, a secondary player may make a bet that pays based on aggregate data from multiple games of primary players.

Claims

1. A method comprising:

recording a first set of data from a first game of a first primary player;

recording a second set data from a second game of a second primary player;

receiving a bet from a secondary player after recording the first set of data and after recording the second set of data;

determining a first value of a statistic based on the first set of data and based on the second set of data;

determining a payout for the secondary player based on the bet and based on the value of the statistic; and

providing the payout to the secondary player.

2. The method of claim 1 in which recording a first set of data includes recording a first set of data indicative of the outcome of the first game.

3. The method of claim 1 in which the statistic describes a total number of games won by any primary player out of a set of games, the set of games including the first game and the second game.

4. The method of claim 1 in which the statistic describes a total number of red outcomes to occur out of a set of games of roulette, the set of games including the first game and the second game.

5. The method of claim 1 in which the statistic describes a total amount of money won by any primary player out of a set of games, the set of games including the first game and the second game.

6. The method of claim 1 in which determining a payout includes:

determining a positive payout if the first value of the statistic is equal to a second value; and

determining a non-positive payout if the first value of the statistic is equal to a third value.

7. The method of claim 1 in which determining a payout includes:

determining a payout of a first amount if the first value of the statistic is equal to a second value;

determining a payout of a second amount if the first value of the statistic is equal to a third value; and

determining a payout of a third amount if the first value of the statistic is equal to a fourth value,

in which the second, third, and fourth values are different.

8. A method comprising:

simulating a first game;

recording a first set of data from the first game;

simulating a second game;

recording a second set of data from the second game;

receiving a bet from a secondary player after recording the first set of data and after recording the second set of data;

determining a first value of a statistic based on the first set of data and based on the second set of data;

determining a payout for the secondary player based on the bet and based on the value of the statistic; and

providing the payout to the secondary player.

9. The method of claim 8 in which simulating a first game includes:

executing a first computer routine for making game decisions; and

executing a second computer routine for generating random game events.
