Abstract

A computer program product and a method for providing a graphical representation of a software, the method includes: receiving semantic concern defining information; populating at least one semantic concern, in response to the received semantic concern defining information; and associating between multiple elements in response to semantic relation information, if semantic concern relation information was previously received.

Claims

1. A method for providing a representation of a software, the method comprises:

receiving semantic concern defining information;

populating at least one semantic concern, in response to the received semantic concern defining information; and

associating between multiple elements in response to semantic relation information, if semantic relation information was previously received.

2. The method according to claim 1 further comprising generating a graphical representation of at least one semantic concern.

3. The method according to claim 2 wherein the generating comprises generating a model entity graphical indication that comprises at least one associated semantic concern graphical indication.

4. The method according to claim 3 wherein the semantic concern graphical indication is a cue.

5. The method according to claim 1 wherein the populating comprises applying a semantic query.

6. The method according to claim 5 wherein the populating is followed by detecting a re-evaluating event and applying the semantic query.

7. The method according to claim 5 wherein the detecting a re-evaluation event comprises detecting a model update.

8. The method according to claim 1 wherein the method comprises allowing a user to access a semantic query library.

9. The method according to claim 8 wherein the method comprises allowing a user to utilize a semantic query or a semantic query pattern from the semantic query library to provide a selected semantic query.

10. The method according to claim 1 wherein the method comprises analyzing the model and providing at least one potential semantic concern.

11. The method according to claim 1 wherein the analyzing comprises analyzing the model in response to at least one predefined analysis rule and in response to information provided by the user.

12. The method according to claim 1 wherein the receiving comprises receiving semantic concern graphical representation information.

13. The method according to claim 1 wherein the populating comprises populating a semantic concern by at least one model entity and by at least one other semantic concern.

14. The method according to claim 1 further comprising defining at least one semantic concern that indicates when a validation rule is violated.

15. The method according to claim 1 further comprising saving at least one semantic concern in a persistent manner.

16. The method according to claim 1 further comprising displaying at least one semantic element that belongs to a semantic concern or that is associated to another semantic element by a semantic relation.

17. The method according to claim 1 further comprising re-evaluating a semantic relation in response to an alteration of a semantic entity associated with the semantic relation or model element.

18. A computer program product comprising a computer usable medium including a computer readable program, wherein the computer readable program when executed on a computer causes the computer to:

receive semantic concern defining information;

populate at least one semantic concern, in response to the received semantic concern defining information; and

associate between multiple elements in response to semantic relation information, if semantic relation information was previously received.

19. The computer program product according to claim 18, wherein the computer readable program when executed on a computer causes the computer to generate a graphical representation of at least one semantic concern.

20. The computer program product according to claim 19, wherein the computer readable program when executed on a computer causes the computer to generate a model entity graphical indication that comprises at least one associated semantic concern graphical indication.

21. The computer program product according to claim 20, wherein the computer readable program when executed on a computer causes the computer to generate a semantic concern graphical indication that comprises a cue.

22. The computer program product according to claim 18, wherein the computer readable program when executed on a computer causes the computer to populate a semantic concern by applying a semantic query.

23. The computer program product according to claim 22, wherein the computer readable program when executed on a computer causes the computer to populate a semantic concern by applying a semantic query and then to detect a re-evaluating event and to apply the semantic query.

24. The computer program product according to claim 23, wherein the detecting a re-evaluation event comprises detecting a model update.

25. The computer program product according to claim 22, wherein the computer readable program when executed on a computer causes the computer to allow a user to access a semantic query library.

26. The computer program product according to claim 25, wherein the computer readable program when executed on a computer causes the computer to allow a user to utilize a semantic query or a semantic query pattern from the semantic query library to provide a selected semantic query.

27. The computer program product according to claim 18, wherein the computer readable program when executed on a computer causes the computer to analyze the model and providing at least one potential semantic concern.

28. The computer program product according to claim 18, wherein the computer readable program when executed on a computer causes the computer to analyzing the model in response to at least one predefined analysis rule and in response to information provided by the user.

29. The computer program product according to claim 18, wherein the computer readable program when executed on a computer causes the computer to receive semantic concern graphical representation information.

30. The computer program product according to claim 18, wherein the computer readable program when executed on a computer causes the computer to populate a semantic concern by at least one model entity and by at least one other semantic concern.

31. The computer program product according to claim 18, wherein the computer readable program when executed on a computer causes the computer to define at least one semantic concern that indicates when a validation rule is violated.

32. The computer program product according to claim 18, wherein the computer readable program when executed on a computer causes the computer to save at least one semantic concern in a persistent manner.

33. The computer program product according to claim 18, wherein the computer readable program when executed on a computer causes the computer to display at least one semantic element that belongs to a semantic concern or that is associated to another semantic element by a semantic relation.

34. The computer program product according to claim 18, wherein the computer readable program when executed on a computer causes the computer to re-evaluate a semantic relation in response to an alteration of a semantic entity associated with the semantic relation or model element.

35. A method of providing a service to a customer over a network is provided, the service includes:

receiving, over a network, semantic concern defining information;

populating at least one semantic concern, in response to the received semantic concern defining information; and

sending to a user, over a network a representation of at least one semantic concern.
