a documentation area allowing a clinician to document the administration of the medication to the patient, wherein the documentation area is adjacent the timeline area allowing the clinician to document the administration of the medication to the patient in context of the one or more times the medication is scheduled to be administered to the patient.

Abstract
Management of patient activities for a clinician is provided including documenting administration of a medication to a patient. A timeline view area is presented showing clinical activities to be performed by a clinician for patients assigned to the clinician. The clinical activities include at least one medication administration activity. Activity details for the medication administration activity are presented adjacent the timeline view area. In response to receiving a user command to document completion of the medication administration activity, an activity view medication administration record is presented comprising an indication of times the medication is administered to the patient. The clinician may document completion of the medication administration activity from this view allowing the clinician to document in context of pertinent information.
