The message server is configured to communicate an outgoing message to a plurality of users via one or more user devices. The message server is also configured to receive active confirmation from at least one user of the plurality of users that the outgoing message was received. The computing system is configured to use the active confirmation received by the message server from the at least one user to connect the at least one user to a group communication environment.
