Abstract

A method for classifying documents to allow a multi-dimensional graphical representation is disclosed, the method comprising displaying a first group of documents on a first document vector; and displaying a second group of documents on a second document vector. A display tool and a multiparty documents handling tool are also disclosed.

Claims

1. A method for classifying documents to allow a multi-dimensional graphical representation, the method comprising:

displaying a first group of documents on a first document vector; and

displaying a second group of documents on a second document vector.

2. The method of claim 1, wherein one group of documents is disposed on its respective vector along a timeline.

3. The method of claim 1, wherein each document in one group of documents have at least one characterization attribute in common.

4. The method of claim 1, wherein each document has a plurality of characterization attributes associated therewith.

5. The method of claim 4, wherein the plurality of characterization attributes is graphically associated with its respective document.

6. The method of claim 5, wherein a selection of at least one characterization attribute from the plurality of characterization attributes enables the formation of a group of documents having the selected at least one characterization attribute in common.

7. The method of claim 1, wherein the second document vector is disposed parallel with the first information element vector.

8. The method of claim 1, wherein the second document vector is disposed non-parallel with the first information element vector.

9. A display tool for representing documents in a multi-dimensional graphical representation, the display tool comprising:

a first display module for representing a first group of documents on a first document vector; and

a second display module for representing a second group of documents on a second document vector.

10. A multiparty documents handling tool comprising:

a first display module for representing a first group of documents on a first document vector, the first group of document having a first accessibility filter adapted to give access to a first party; and

a second display module for representing a second group of documents on a second document vector, the second group of documents having a second accessibility filter adapted to give access to a second party.
