1. An installation bracket for mounting an electrical box to a partition comprising a front wall and a rear wall defining therebetween an interior space, the installation bracket comprising:
- a mounting plate having an opening of sufficient size to receive therethrough an electrical device;
at least one stud or floor attachment means each for securing the installation bracket to at least one stud or floor, thereby to position the mounting plate alongside a rear face of the front wall in said interior space; and
at least one mounting flange on at least one side of said opening in said mounting plate, each mounting flange extending from said mounting plate toward said rear wall, for mounting thereupon an electrical box, each mounting flange defining at least two electrical box anchor positions located at different distances toward said rear wall from a plane of said mounting plate, said installation bracket thereby accommodating electrical boxes of varying depths within the interior space of the partition.
