Abstract

An online test platform facilitates the generation, development, delivery, and management of educational tests with interactive participation by students, teachers, proctors, and administrators even when some or all of them are remotely located. The platform may include a database for storing test assembly information, administrator interfaces, test proctor interfaces, and test taker (e.g. student) interfaces to allow each participant to view, navigate, and interact with aspects of the online test platform that are intended to meet their needs.

Claims

1. A method of dynamic online test content generation, comprising:

storing test assembly information in a database that is associated with a server in an online testing platform;

using a web browser in association with a computing facility for a test taker to begin testing within the online testing platform; and

using a dynamic animation compilation functionality to update a test content in the test taker'"'"'s web browser.

2. The method of claim 1, wherein the test update is on-demand.

3. The method of claim 2, wherein the on-demand update comprises a demand from the test taker.

4. The method of claim 2, wherein the on-demand update comprises a demand from the server.

5. The method of claim 1, wherein the animation compilation functionality is a Flash animation facility.

19. The method of claim 1, wherein the database is a relational database.

20. The method of claim 1, wherein the database includes a relational model.

25. A system for dynamic online test content generation, comprising:

an online testing platform server in association with a storage facility for storing test assembly information;

a web browser in association with a computing facility for a test taker to begin testing within the online testing platform; and

a dynamic compilation facility to update a test content in the test taker'"'"'s web browser.

26. The system of claim 25, wherein the storage facility comprises a database.

27. The system of claim 26, wherein the database comprises a relational database.

30. The system of claim 25, wherein the web browser comprises a plug-in to play animations.

31. The system of claim 27, wherein the plug-in comprises a Flash plug-in.

32. The system of claim 25, wherein the dynamic compilation facility comprises a test update module.

33. The system of claim 32, wherein the test update module comprises an on-demand test update.

34. The system of claim 33, wherein the on-demand update comprises a demand from the test taker.

35. The system of claim 33, wherein the on-demand update comprises a demand from the server.
